Title: The Tree of Knowledge
Date: July 31, 2005
Medium: Pen & ink on Canson paper
Description: No, not that Tree of Knowledge. I'm not the religious sort. This tree is, if not outright good, certainly quite benign. Eating its fruit won't do you any harm. (Eating the little videocameras hidden in the roots, on the other hand, might be quite uncomfortable. Eating videocameras is never a good idea. All those wee glassy bits--faugh!)
At any rate, this was commissioned as a preliminary sketch for a tattoo design. A tattoo artist will adapt it later, that it might be etched permanently into some poor sod's back.
Status: Sold - prints will be available eventually.
Detail images available:

(This area, unfortunately, falls right on the seam where the two scanned halves were knitted together. The smudging and distortion on the fairies is decidedly not part of the original drawing.)

Larger version available: If your Internet connection permits, please check out this larger version--you can see a lot more detail. (Unfortunately, you can also see a lot more of that horrible, horrible scanning seam, but there you have it.) Click here to view!
